"Montagi EAD was established in 1947 as a specialized state economic association for construction and installation of energy and industrial projects in Bulgaria. In 1993 Montagi was registered as 100% state-owned joint stock company.

For its 70 year background Montagi EAD has specialized in performance of the following activities:

1. Production of steel structures for construction and industry in accordance with the standards EN 1090-2;
2. Mechanical installation, electrical installation, Control and Measurement Equipment and Automatization.
3. Design, production and installation of different types of ventilation and air conditioning systems;
4. Design, production and installation of tanks, silos, metal structures, etc.;
5. Construction of oil pipelines, gas pipelines, and all types of industrial pipelines;
6. Accredited inspection body of type "C" according to BSS EN ISO 17020;
   • Non-destructive and destructive control of metal products, constructions and welded joints, castings and forgings, underground metal constructions.
   • Electric testing of devices, installations and transformers up to and over 1000V; cable distribution lines and busbar systems up to 35kV.
   • Control of electrochemical corrosion protection.
7. Development and implementation of technologies in welding and control;
8. Energy management and the quality of electricity;
9. Centre for vocational training, licensed by NAVET;
   • Professions in the field of construction: welders, NDT inspectors, machine fitters, electric system installers, etc.
   • Qualification group on Safety Obzervation.

Montagi EAD has the capacity to participate as an experienced, qualified and motivated partner – a contractor of installation works in the implementation of the following project types:

• Energy projects - new construction, extension, rehabilitation and renovation of existing facilities.
• Industrial projects of all type and industry - building, extensions and renovation.
• Ecological-projects - waste waters treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants for domestic wastewater, facilities for the processing of solid waste.
• Other projects that include installation of electrical machinery, equipment, technological lines and etc.

Over the years, Montagi EAD has participated in installation, tests and commissioning of a large number of energy and industrial projects in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as lots of project abroad.

Montagi EAD is the first state owned company in the industry, which is licensed on:

• Certificate of type "C" inspection performance;
• ISO 9001:2015 - quality management standard;
• EN 1090-1:2009/A1:2011 - Standard of production of metal constructions;
• ISO 45001:2018 - Management system on safety and health at work;
• ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental management system;
• Certificate for installation, maintenance, repair and reconstruction of facilities in energy projects for production of electrical energy from renewable sources;
• Membership of the Chamber of constructors in Bulgaria – I, III and IV groups from first to fifth grade.
